What happened
On October 7, 2026, Apple and The King’s Trust launched an initiative to empower the next generation of creatives. According to the company, the partners built on their longstanding partnership with an immersive education program to help young people build careers in the creative industries.
The Apple x King’s Trust Creative Labs will offer young people meaningful engagement with Apple experts across industries as they explore career pathways. A first cohort of up to 20 young people ages 18 to 30 will join specialized workshops to learn industry-aligned skills using Apple technologies.
The immersive experience began this week with music industry and creative workshops. The start was aligned to the recent opening of Apple Music Hall at Battersea Power Station in London, with more sessions and cohorts to come over the course of the next year.
Program links Apple experts and technology to creative careers
For Apple, the program connects its own experts and technologies directly to training for creative careers. Participants explore career pathways with Apple experts and practise skills using Apple technologies in specialized workshops.
Alisha Johnson Wilder, Apple’s senior director of Global Community Impact, said: “At Apple, we believe education is a powerful force for equity and opportunity”. According to the company, Apple has long supported educational programming for learners of all ages and backgrounds in the UK and around the world.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of The King’s Trust. Since it was founded by His Majesty The King, as the Prince of Wales, in 1976, it has helped 1.3 million young people across the UK reach their potential.
